Thanks to everyone who came out to the release party at the Muse and our mini-tour shows in Chapel Hill and Raleigh the following nights.  We had a great time playing for you all and sold tons of the new CD.  If you missed the shows, you can pick up a copy of the album in our online store or download it under the media/music tab above.   I also posted a recording of our interview we did on WCOM 103.5 FM in Carrboro on 11/21/10.  You can listen to it streaming under the music/media tab if you want to learn more about the band and our influences on the new album, Phasmatis Apparatus

Big news in Ghost Town, y'all! Phasmatis Apparatus, our second EP, is almost complete. Joel has been working tirelessly to achieve the perfect mix, just in time for our CD release gig at The Evening Muse on November 19. Eight new songs have emerged from our communal blood, sweat, and beers. We think you shall enjoy each one. Come check out the show, pick up a CD, and get rowdy.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at the Neighborhood Theatre show in May. We had a great time playing the main stage. I've posted some youtube clips in the video section from the show you can check out if you missed it. We also wanted to let everyone know we're taking a little break from live shows for the next month to start work on our second album, Phasmatis Apparatus. Preproduction is going well. Right now we are looking at a November 2010 release date. We're really excited with the way things are taking shape on the new tracks. Stay tuned for some acoustic alternate takes we'll be posting in coming months of some of the new songs.

We're very excited to announce our upcoming show at the Neighborhood Theatre for the Here to Rock Charity event on May 14, 2010.  Here to Rock raises money for Here to Their, a non-profit that provides school supplies to impoverished children in Tanzania. This event will be hosted by 107.9 The Link.  Sharing the bill with us will be several great local acts including Evelyn Rose, The Transmission Fields, Electric Bugle and Friends (formerly Incognito Mosquito), and The Pistoleros. Come help raise money for a great cause and check out of some of Charlotte's finest local talent. We will be donating all CD and t-shirt sales that night to Here to Their.

Thanks to everyone's continued support of the new album.  We've gotten great feedback and appreciate everyone that's passed the CD along or recommended it to a friend.  We've got an exciting new show coming up on 3/13/10 at Dolce Vita in Noda in Charlotte with our good friends Count This Penny from Johnson City, TN.  Count This Penny is a folk pop/alt. country trio that make ample use of warm vocal harmonies, acoustic guitars, washboards and banjos.  Great stuff.  CTP + GTR = good time.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the CD release in December.  We had a great time and album sales have gone very well thanks to all your support and encouragement.  We have our first show of the new year tonight at the Evening Muse as their featured performer for their open mic night.  We'll be playing a 30 minute set at 10:00 pm.  $3 cover.  Come check it out if you're in town.  Our good friend Rodney Lanier of Sea of Cortez will be joining us once again on pedal steel.

Well after many late nights and long weekends in the studio, we have finally finished our debut album release, Early Morning Moon.  The album is a seven song EP.  As one digstation.com reviewer described it, "man, you guys music has influences from all over the map! There's a little bit of everything here: rock, alt.country, indie, funk and it comes together so well. Very creative stuff..."  The album is now available for download at digstation.com and will also be available on itunes, napster, rhapsody, amazon, and emusic by early January.

We will be celebrating the release of the album on Saturday December 19 in Charlotte, NC at Revolution in the heart of Noda located at the corner of North Davidson and 36th St.  Joe Norkus of the Embarrassing Fruits will be opening up for us.  We will have specials on the new CD's and our NOD original design t-shirts.  Hope to see you there.

We've booked a new Prevue show for Friday September 18, 2009 with George Terry and the Pistoleras.  Show should start around 9:00.  Prevue is a great new live music spot on North Davidson if you haven't checked it out yet.  Work on the album continues to move forward.  We've tracked around 16 songs, but still have a lot of clean up duty left to do to get it finished in the home studio.  We are hoping to have most the mixing completed by the end of the month.  For everyone that has asked for some preview tracks, I promise I will try and get some up this weekend.

We have been hard at work recording in the studio over the last few weeks, but we are coming up for air at our upcoming show at Prevue on 7/11 with our friends Shine River and The Mangles.  Come check it out, should be a good time.
